On My Grind

Been working really hard and hopefully my hard work pays off. Received the makeup I ordered from Coastal Scents and was really excited to use my materials! Jenny captured me in action before one of our many photo shoots with Rose. Thus far so good! I know its only going to keep moving up from here!

Mafia

We recently did a photo shoot that was inspired by the mafia era. We were able to shoot on location at Sherlock's Baker Street Pub and really captured the saloon feel. The best part of this shoot was that Rose and I were playing male roles and Tiffany played the beautiful heart breaker! It was definitely an experience to act hard and "man up" to play the part which was really different from the other shoots we have done were I am going for a fierce and stylish look. Smokey Eyes - Black and White

Here is a look that is going to be great for fall! Everyone is going to want the smokey eye. You can turn a simple day look into a night look with a little eyeliner and some black eye shadow, my favorite is Carbon from MAC. I finished the look off with Pale Lip lipstick from Lancome and Turkish Delight lip gloss from NARS.

New Chapter New Year

I turn 25 today and this year is going to be about meeee.

Sew Excited

I get these urges to create things really randomly. I was sitting at my desk staring at my closet and remember that I had a bunch of material that I was using to sew a quilt. I took it out and was up all night sewing! I love it! Still not done so no pics yet. But i just love the creative phases I go through whether it is painting, sewing, pictures..it makes me who I am.

Been doing a lot of thinking recently, a bit of soul searching, and I have realized that things don't always turn out as planned. At first, I was having a hard time accepting this but now I know that there is a different plan for me.  I had once lost hope but I see that many others failed hundreds of times before they achieved greatness.

Therefore, how would I ever achieve anything if I never failed?

It is those failures that make me a stronger person, a more desirving person. It is not the failures that I must focus on but the path it forces me to take because if life was always so easy.... success wouldn't be as sweet. All I can do is try my best, work hard, and never give up.
